The exhaust augmented cooling is not just used in avaition. The US Navy uses a similar concept to cool its engine exhausts. The idea is to reduce the heat signiture of the vessel.

I contacted Gabriel about their hi jacker air shocks and the Gabriel Part number is actually 39212. It cross references with the Autozone part number of 49212.
