My round trip mileage to the Pulse rally was 880 miles. I got 57 miles per gallon overall.

GL1100 Interstate: 130/90 X 17
GL1100 Aspencade: 140/90 x 16
GL1200: 150/90 x 15

That is correct. There were no stock 1200 Gold WIngs (1984-1987) with 18 inch wheels. The correct size tire for any 1984 thru 1987 Gold Wing is 150/90 x 15

I finally looked up some info on this particular 1100. It is set up as a five speed with over drive. They say as a bike top speed was 176 mph.

No way 176 as a stock 1100. Maybe 126 with a good tai ...

New master cylinder, new calipers, tried two different kinds of proportuoning valves, brakes bled repeatedly. Gonnna try new rubber lines next. Are you able to lock your brakes if you want to?
