i found a good slide substitute for thos with solid rails..
a piece of pvc plastic pipe.. carefullly slot a short section (i used a hand grinder) and slide it in..

removing the center pipe shouldnt be a problem (you could decrease the diameter) and with additional side framework provide enough strength and side crash... way back when ... |

a good sythetic oil combined with an oil cooler (get a tranny cooler from a jeep) should do it.. check the temp readings agian...to be sure..
goldwings usually dont overheat unless pushed to the limi ... |
