Today I took Pulse 220 for it's first ride in roughly 10 years.

It's only been a week since getting the stripped body tub back from paint, but I installed the new engine setup and re-wired about 80% of it. Although it's far from done, I drove it out of one of my brother's garages under it's own power and it passed it's first test ride down the block.

Here's two video links if you'd like to see....

That short ride is keeping me motivated to get it done!!!

Chad,
Take one wire at a time !!!

Is the dash custom made?
Are the outriggers on shocks?

Bob,
I made the dash from fiberglass and painted it to match my interior material. I didn't want to just patch up the old plastic dash because I didn't think it would come out nice. Since there is a texture/grain in the original pastic one, I thought that just filling the holes wouldn't match the grain.

The outriggers work with the original rubber "donut" set-up, although I replaced everything including the donuts.

I made it through about 95% of the wiring tonight with the remaining 5% run but not terminated. All I have left to wire is the front turn signals, stabilizer led markers and radio. (I guess I should buy a radio before I start to wire it though.)

Next up....installing the interior.
