Are there enough "aftermarket" parts suppliers to build one from the ground up?

I hope I hope I hope

The best way to go is to find an old Pulse that needs total restoration and it must have a clean title. Without the title, it may be difficult to title a homebuilt autocycle in your state. Check with your DMV first.

Bob Hichborn of Florida has made replacement body panels and the outrigger housings for the Pulses.

Steel frame parts rust and sometimes need replacing. Bob makes all these parts.

Below are examples of Bob Hichborn's Pulse body and frame parts

Thank you. I assume that powder coating the metal bits would help with rust prevention.

First, my email has changed. (Like a year ago.... Smile ) I've gotten lots of calls from folks not getting any feedback when emailing. Here;s the new one.

I agree with Steve, in that the best way to "build" a Pulse is to buy one in whatever shape you can afford and can handle to refurb.

The frame is pretty basic and can be built easily by anyone that has some fabrication skills and equipment. The body is another story. I made molds a few years back, because the original Owosso ones have disappeared.

I've got a complete frame and set of body parts that I'd sell, it's just that shipping ends up being rather expensive. These vehicles are big and heavy.
