In Missouri, if a vehicle has been abandoned or was on your property when you purchased it then the Highway Patrol can inspect it, run a check on it and then they will issue a clean title. I got a title for a Honda Trail 90 this way. Just a thought. |

Michigan titles are getting more difficult as of 6/1/2012 You can get a title for a vehicle but it has to be physically inspected in Michigan by the Police department to verify the vin. and have an appraisal done by a Bank. I just had Pulse # 224 inspected and a Title was attained. FYI

Michigan law has changed again for the 3rd time this year. 9-1-2012, To obtain a title you must first have a bill of sale, you must have an appraisal done, you must then get a surety bond for twice the amount of the appraisal.( can take a while )then if they like you at the S.O.S. , you pray they will send the paper work in properly to the state to be approved and you may have to wait another 90 days from the time you summit it in.
Cost.. will vary depending on the amount of the surety bond and appraisal. |
