|

I have yet to come across a Pulse that has a perfect original dash. The original dash made of plastic and either melted , cracked , or distorted with the plastic material it was made of and was not good.
The cost of the front dash that holds all the gauges is $225.
These are made of fiberglass and are very strong. All dashes are black but can be sanded and painted to your color , or you can leave them black. You will need to cut all your own holes for gauges and switches.
I am also making a new fiberglass dash cover (glareshield) which hides the steering box-electrical, etc. I hope to have some by August 2011. Most of these original covers are also warped or cracked.
Thanks,

Yes I ned one I'm counting on it
in a month or 2 when hopefuly when my restoration will be close to the end.
I'd like to know if that's going to be a blank one which will require to cut and adapt the custom gauges which I perfer,
or if it will be the copy of the stock

I have a suggestion or those who do, in fact, have a non-distorted top dash. You may want to reinforce it before it does distort.
I used 2 pieces of 1"x 1/2" wood cut to length that I then epoxied to the rear of my top dash panel. So far, I have not had distorsion. The wood basically gave it support running top to bottom.
Even with a new dash, you may want to do it as proventative measure before you install it. Just an idea. |
