was looking at pics of different pulses tonite.
i like the addition of the rear winglets i see on several.
was wondering how passenger got into rear seat once those were installed?
doesn't seem to be much room for canopy to recede enuff ?
and sliding canopy off w/ winglets on ?? have to remove rear upper shell?
my ole pulse is at buddy's warehouse so i'm only guessing.
thanks--john

and i see one white one --upper blue trim-- w/ a bigger side scoop back where motor is. vs little clear plexiglass one originals had.
wonder if that bigger scoop provides enuff cool air for original yami 400 motor ? sort of like ole "hilburn" hot rod hood scoop on cars--turned sideways. keep fans for stop-n-go traffic.

My white Pulse #185 has the same tail as Ray Johnson's. It is a little bit different than the factory made tail.

The canopy slides back far enough for the passenger. However, to take the canopy off, the tail including the rear upper and lower body sections (engine covers) must be removed.

Tail of #185

Factory made tail of #328

So far, I think the best rear winglet mod. deserves some attention on the pick HERE! Idea

I'm not sure why it wouldn't show the picture when "Img" added before & after Question

Steve--thanks for pics/info.
the factory edges on 328 seem to be more rounded than 185's winglets--in keeping w' aero numbers. not that anybody's gonna need that extra bit of aero. ha! or are my eyes deceiving me.

Bela---that is one sweet set-up. is that still available?
any pics of inner side w/ it off ? thanks for pic.

what about big side ports and cooling?

thanks guys ! --john

I've never been that big on rear winglets, but I must admit that anhedral horizontal stabelizers (downward sloping like on the back of a harrier) might look cool and would still allow the canopy to come all the way back.

If you can create it for your Tail. many winglets have be made, it just takes some creativity.

Make it your OWN!!
Its always nice to see a new idea
