I have been looking for a flat tread tire to replace my motorcycle tire I now have on ( 140 x 90 x 16 in. ) The closest I could find is from coker tire which has a Firestone blackwall tire size 450/475 - 16. The overall diameter is 26.20in., the cross section is 4.75 and tread width is 3.80 in. Can this work or do I have to do waht Don Muddiman said in replacing my rim with a voltswagon rim and tire? I am open to any ideas. thanks. Smile

Yesterday I went to the local Discount Tire store, where I get all my tires, because they don't mind helping me with the weird requirements I bring to them. I brought the Pulse front wheel and tire to try and find a replacement. The Micheilins 145 or 155 SR13 XW4 or XZX series that folks have posted as a good replacement option for the Pulse are no longer in production. Coker who bought the molds for these tires is no longer producing them either. I'm looking into other options. For #77 I'm using a KUMO Powerstar 758 0 155-80-13. It's only $29 and has a relatively neutral tread design down the center. At that price, if it doesn't work out, I can take it off and throw it our. The Michielins were over $100.
