I want to install a car alternator on my 1200 engine. I have the pulley from poorboy who sells a kit for converting to the alternator for motorcycles. Has any converted over to this charging system. If so I would like to hear from them or send some pictures.
Thanks Jim

Hey Jim,

PoorBoy, as you know, makes the aftermarket pulley that you can use for both an auto alternator or auto AC unit conversion.

If you check out any of the online Goldwing Forums such as: www.goldwingowners.com and search for Auto Alernators, you'll find plenty of help. The one "thread" I quickly found talked about using an alternator off a Chevy Sprint.

Good luck.

- Bob
