Good day to all of you pulse owners out there. I am talking with Progressive Insurance to get insurance for a pulse. My question is they are looking to find the Pulse listed somewhere so that they can put a value to the vehicle. can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance for the help. _________________ My Pulse is 115 and I am lovin it |

If you are talking a mint condition Pulse, I would say in 2010 at least $25,000 to $30,000.
A nice looking Pulse just sold on ebay for $22,000.
A good complete Pulse needing new tires, carbs cleaned, shocks, etc .....start at $7,000 - $10,000.
Junkers can cost from $1,500.
Here is a page about finding insurance:

I don't know of any other website about Pulse values other than this one. |

Thanks Steve, I have directed them to look up the information on the forum. Progressive seemed to be amenable to using the information on the forum to establish the value. They will be getting back to me on how they will proceed so I will keep you all informed.
If they take the information and give us the policy then this will be one more insurance company the can be used to insure the Pulse.
Thanks again for the help Steve

Well we struck out with Progressive in the Comp & Collision area, they will cover liability for $80.00 a year.
We will move on to the next company. _________________ My Pulse is 115 and I am lovin it |

Well we applied to Hagerty on line and if all goes well they quoted $278.00 per year with a value of $12,000.00 with comp and collision. if you value the Pulse at $15,000.00 it will cost almost $400.00 per year. _________________ My Pulse is 115 and I am lovin it |

I've got my Pulse insured with Progressive, but yes the collision value is in that $12,000 to $15,000 range. I'll try to hunt down my policy for specifics.

Thanks Bob I will look forward to any information you can provide about Progressive.
We are contacting State Farm next just so we can get several quotes to choose from. _________________ My Pulse is 115 and I am lovin it |

We finally settled on Allstate as they gave us no hassle about insuring the Pulse. We directed them to the web site for the value guide and since the production run was so small they took the information from the web site and issued the policy with full coverage comp and collision and no restrictions on operation of the vehicle. The only demand that I have is I have to take the Pulse by the office and give everyone a ride. _________________ My Pulse is 115 and I am lovin it |
